TWG Tea

Was strolling my wife at Ion Orchard and found this really exclusive tea shop. Just stepping in will make you feel like you're in an English tea place. The waiters are dressed smartly, you see tea everywhere and cakes, scones.

Once seated, you'll be greeted to a menu of not 1 but 5 pages of the different types of tea. So, being our first we asked for suggestions. Just decide whether black, white or green tea (never knew white tea exists!) and then voila! they'll introduce you to their best sellers.

I had black tea (1837 TWG - their best seller) while my wife ordered green tea (don't remember the name). Each pot costs us S$10.50. The teas were so fragrant, it was really an experience altogether. Even the tea pot, the cups were unique. We also had cheese infused tea cake and infused tea macaron. These were $2 each. Highly recommend the macaron & tea!

Getting there: Take MRT to Orchard station and get into Ion Orchard. Take the escalator to the higher floors.
